Cheltenham Firestation Rainharvesting system
Fire Station for Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service

Cheltenham West Community Fire Station is one of four new fire stations built during 2011/12 under a PFI project for Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service.

Rainharvesting Systems Ltd. were chosen to supply the harvesting systems to all four buildings, where the harvested water is being used for the staff and public toilets and for washing the Services vehicles.

These new stations were built to replace two previous ones located in Cheltenham and Gloucester, in a major scheme to improve the county’s ability to respond to emergencies across the region.

Each station is very different and has been designed to fit in to its location. Both visually attractive and functional, the stations are also a resource for their local communities, each having a space that is available for a variety of uses.

We have also supplied similar solutions to many other fire services throughout England and Wales.
